Fun and value are a big part of Target’s approach to the 2023 holiday season with advertising that features a playful spin on holiday moments and a range of potential gifts for less than $25.
In reference to the planes, trains and automobiles that take consumers to loved ones each holiday season, Target has created transportation-themed destinations throughout its stores, including a shoppable Grand Central Gifting Station, the company noted.
Online, Target already heads up its landing page with All Things Christmas, a banner that clicks through to multiple holiday purchasing categories from Christmas Decorations to Christmas Ornaments to Christmas Storage. It also has a category of Top Black Friday pics on the landing page, which recently included a Nespresso Vertuo Pop+Coffee machine for $99.99, down from $129.99; a Gourmia Digital Four Slice Toaster for $39.99, down from $59.99; a Dyson V8 Origin Cordless Stick Vacuum for $249.99, down from $429.99; and a Select by Calphalon with AquaShield Nonstick 10-inch and 12-inch Fry Pan Combo Pack for $39.99, down from $49.99.
“Target is putting the magic and the meaning of the holidays within reach for everyone this season,” said Lisa Roath, Target executive vice president and chief marketing officer. “As guests look to save and celebrate in style, our holiday marketing and creative will inspire them with all the on-trend gifts, food and décor they love at Target, at prices they’ll love even more. That’s the heart of our campaign: However you holiday, Target helps you do it for less.”
