Bamboozle has partnered with media personality Elizabeth Karmel, known as Grill Girl, for the Prep ‘N Serve Tray Set made from Bamboozle’s new plant-based material called Astrik.
The Prep ‘N Serve Tray Set includes a combination of six stackable serving cups (14 ounces each), one medium 9-inch-by-13-inch tray and one large 18-inch-by-13-inch tray. It comes in a choice of warm or cool-toned bowls served on white or light sage trays. The collection can be used for mise en place, baking and decorating a cake, preparing a spread with toppings or arranging hors d’oeuvres, says the company.
The Prep ‘N Serve Tray Set is the first line from the brand made from Astrik, a plant-based material created by Bamboozle. The material is made by combining bamboo and PLA, a 100% plant-based plastic. According to the company, without the use of petroleum-based plastics, the raw material is grown and harvested, not extracted, emits a fraction of the greenhouse gases during the manufacturing process and is 100% biodegradable in two years.
“Earth is cluttered with plastic that will last in our landfills and oceans for thousands of years. Even with this knowledge, we understand it can be difficult for families and individuals to change their habits to reduce their carbon footprint,” said Bamboozle President Avi Greenstein. “Our mission is to bring sustainability within reach of every home by creating products made with renewable ingredients and biodegradable materials. Durability, versatility, dishwasher safety and enticing designs enable customers to effortlessly make a sustainable choice every day. We do the work, so customers don’t have to,”
The Prep ‘N Serve Tray Set is available now with an MSRP of $80.
